Handing Over The Spanner

We have mixed emotions at Premier this month as our Technical Engineer  Robert Walthew (on the right) leaves us on Friday (11th April).

Robert has been with us for 9 years and will be missed by all of us and our many distributors worldwide. We wish him much health & happiness in his new life. Robert is replaced by Chris (Ralphie) Ralphs who joined us in December 2013 after building Pallet Inverters for many years. We wish both Robert and Chris all the best and look forward to Chris serving all our customers in the knowledgeable and friendly way that Robert did.

The picture shows the customary handing over of the spanner from one engineer to another.

Testimonial from Sensient Flavours Ltd

We at Sensient were faced with various Health and Safety issues with unorthodox practices for squaring up loads and damage pallet exchanges. We found the Inverter provided by Premier Pallet Systems to be invaluable in providing a cost effective safe solution to our problems. The use of a rental model to prove the process was invaluable at assessing the final model choice and customising items to match our requirements and working environment

Testimonial Bisley Office Equipment

Bisley LogoBisley Office Equipment in Newport are a world renowned manufacturer of steel office storage.

Premier has supplied three Inverters to Bisley, the first of which was delivered over 18 years ago and is still used regularly today.

The machines are used to turn over stacks of steel sheet in order to present them in the right orientation prior to painting. Originally, Bisley ordered 2 RR Type 1 models for handling sheet up to 2200mm wide, then, in 2009, a custom built, FS1000 was delivered.
Tony Walker, Senior Engineer at Bisley said:

We had the two RR Type 1 machines from Premier in the first instance and were very impressed with their reliability. Therefore when we needed another inverter we decided to approach Premier again

Premier supplied an FS1000 inverter specifically built to Bisley’s needs for handling
smaller size, very thin sheets of steel.

Tony said:

The new machine has solved our problem totally and is very reliable.

Palomat Sales Person of the Month

Liam IPad June 2013 01Premier have been a UK distributor of the Palomat stacker/destacker for a number of years. The month of May was a cause for celebration in the Premier office – Liam Brett, one of the sales team, has been awarded a prize for being “sales person of the month” and is seen in the photograph with Richard Jones, Director of Premier, holding his prize.

Agents and Distributors visit Premier

We are always very pleased to welcome visits from our distributors and this month has been extremely busy.

We had a visit from our Belgian distributor, Willy van Geert who was accompanied by Rik Pysson and Luc Op de Beeck.  The following week we welcomed our Swiss Agent, Heinz Wyrsch who also introduced us to his new colleague, Markus Streuli and last week we were visited by our Australian agent, Bob van der Wild.

It is always useful for our agents/distributors to visit us and see machines in-build at our factory and to discuss sales and marketing strategies with our staff.

Visit from Our Australian Agent

It was with great pleasure we received a visit from our Australian Agent Bob Van de Wild of BBJ Materials Handling this month. Over the past few years our exports to Australia have grown exponentially and Bob has been a huge part of that success.

Having a knowledgeable and helpful member of our team based in Australia allows Premier to offer hands on support for our clients that is important to our business. It was great to see Bob again and we wish him all the best for the coming year.
